Dave Joerger, once a head coach in Memphis and Sacramento, is joining David Adelman’s staff as Denver’s lead assistant, per Shams Charania of ESPN.
Joerger joins the Nuggets after two seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks as an assistant coach and three seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers before that.
He holds a 245-247 record as a head coach, though the splits are drastic, as he posted a 147-99 record in Memphis before struggling in Sacramento, where win percentages go to die.
