My boys,

Ahhhh the pros and cons of a trade!
Christian McCaffrey, Broncos blood, excites the fans, but is always injured and draft capital is limited……
Assuming Russ improves and is elite for the next 3 years, when does Denver start looking for the next QB?

Howdy gents

I’m hearing a lot of negativity surrounding Russ and the Broncos nationally, and rightfully so.

My question, do you think it would benefit him and/or Hackett to go on a national show (McAfee for example) and do interviews? I think it would be a good look for them to go and be candid and say yes we aren’t where we want to be but the season is still early kind of thing. Thoughts?

Loved your Raiders-Chiefs discussion two pods ago. Why I am on Zac’s side: if you get the 2 point conversion and go ahead with 4 minutes to go, you’re giving Mahomes 4 downs every time on a potential game-winning drive. If you tie it up, then them punting on a 4th down is still on the table, and you hope to get lucky in OT. Does that make any sense?

The last time I walked from Mile High To the bar this peculiar fellow asked
me if I wanted to buy from him some “juice.”

What is juice? (Like Dulcich 8/110/1 type Juice maybe?)

Rounding out my little diatribe-

Numbies likely will not agree with this take (by definition, as it isn’t quantitative) but I think one of Elway’s greatest shortcomings as GM was neglecting the vibe in favor of tangibles.

For example, I think we dropped Demarcus Ware wayy to fast, leaving a defensive room with a void of leadership and experience. We also hired Vic Fangio, who probably thinks “culture” and “positive workplace environment” are just millennial malarkey. This also feeds into the Melvin Gordon V.S. Phillip Lindsay debate, which makes me nervous of this issue with Paton.

That is why the current toxicity in the fan environment was somewhat shocking to me. We have both hands on the wheel of the vibe bus!

I think of the “great” fanbases, such as Bills Mafia, long suffering bases who have been tempered by the ravages parity, that are finally getting their due. I even think of Chiefs fans, who spent literal decades being little brother to the likes of Elway, and Peyton, finally getting a little moment. I’d rather be more like those fan bases than Pats fans… EW.

Anyway, lets all work together to #DetoxDenver! Cheers and W tidings to all,
Arvada Luke

Hey fellas I wonder if it would be better long term to let Russ’s shoulder heal for a few weeks. Even in the short term it might be better to lose a few games with Brett Rypien than let Russ’s shoulder get worse and let the narrative continue that Russ is washed and Hackett isn’t head coach material. When Russ is fully healthy he could come back and finally get this offense humming and hopefully finish the year strong and build a lot of momentum going into next year. Even if we finish with a middle of the road record it would be good to end the year with a healthy Russ and momentum than it would be to sputter out and watch Russ play injured all year. Remember how disastrous it was last year when Baker Mayfield played injured all season. No one will make an excuse for your poor play, even if you’re injured.

Hey guys ! Denver was lit & even though my broncos lost on my bday I still had a lot of fun! Hit up one bar where I had to bite a flower that numbs my lip and drink a shot, I thought that was pretty cool lol. Anyways my question is (Does the offense struggle this bad in practice or is it a “game speed” issue?)
