Love the pod and love the student discount for subscribing! BSN is perfect for a poor college kid born and raised in the great state of Colorado. If you guys could spend one weekend with a professional athlete from any sport who would it be and why? I think I would have to go with Von, Alex Ovechkin (he is killing the Stanley Cup celebration) and none other than JR Swish because it would be hilarious. Cheers

Hey guys,
Zac, since you had my back defending me yesterday I got yours voting for your team and if I could I would vote a million times more so we could “demolish” Ryan.
If you guys were GM for one offseason, based on talent you brought in, kept, and let go, how do you think you would fare and what, realistically, do you think your record would be?

So you will shame Colorado people for not buying TD’s bbq sauce or Eddie Mac’s mustard, but you haven’t been to key places in Colorado like the Royal Gorge? Also thanks for reading my comment the other day, Ryan did a great job capturing my tone and inflection in my comparison story and happy that my comment made the podcast title the other day. If you want to collaborate on a piece of content, hit me up – I’ll do it for a BSN shirt – whenever those come out. Also, I have to give Ryan’s team a slight edge.
For my question, I hope Vance Joseph works out (for Broncos consistency and the memes), but how many losses would it take to jump on the “hire Jim Bob Cooter bandwagon?”

Alright. Loved the draft game.
Looks like RK’s Offense is built to run the ball and use a quick passing game. His defense, tho, is basically a forever dime and is made to rush and cover.
Zac has the showtime offense, dynamic playmakers all over with Case the QB. His defense is built to stop the run and pray no one gets time to throw deep.
In this game, I think the 2TE looks from RK allow Williams to be a hammer to grind out first downs, and Phillip Lindsay is an absolute nightmare for Davis and Jewell.
With the run game established, Case uses his play action to take advantage of Brock and Hamilton does not throw away his shot, grabbing at least 1 long TD, and feasting on the space left by the safeties who shouldn’t be deep safeties.
But with the Zac attack on the field it comes down to plays in space. He only has Butt to block, so it’s pass first, and to Sutton often. The rookie will Moss his counterpart early and often, and DT will make Roby pay for even the smallest mistakes.
BUT the game is won in the middle of the field where RK’s linebackers and safeties shut down Butt and Henderson, cuasing drives to stall out after an incompletion causes Zac’s team to get behind the chains.
The game is burried when Team Z is forced to take shots to come from behind, forcing Keenum to wait that crusial second longer, allowing Von to get a hand on Case as he throws and Sua Cravens, playing as a covering middle linebacker makes a diving effort to intercept the pass. Other Case Kneels the clock out and RK gets a Gatorade bath.

Zac. Hands down.

Why don’t the NFL let the full 53 drsss for games on Sunday? I feel this should have been changed years ago. Is there a reason hidden somewhere in this or could a change be on the cards? With the big push they are making on stopping serious life changing injuries to players in retirement would it make sense to have more players available for each game and share that loss?
Thanks

Sorry! Ignore this as you answered it on this podcast. Time difference is a bit of a killer! Thanks

Can you explain the terminology for describing a tight end such as “In line TE”, “F” or “Y”? Thanks!

I would have to go with Zac’s team. Pastor Rhett did a good job breaking things down, but I disagree with the inside defensive analysis. Zac has Peko, Wolfe, and Gotsis on the inside. Ryan’s running game is going no where! Even if they run to the outside, Zac has Ray and Chubb there!
Ryan’s secondary has a slight edge on the safties, but Zac CB’s will shut out the outside routes leaving Ryan’s Case to throw on the inside and if Zac’s Defense can see this then they are there to make plays.
Pastor Rhett talks about Miller coming in to get Keenum, well Zac has more power with Chubb and Ray as a team and will put more pressure on Keenum.
ZAC for the WIN!
GO BRONCOS!!!

Romo was a great player for the Broncos when you wanted “Juice”!!!! But I am definitely more of a John Lynch fan for big hitter and a true Bronco!!!!
GO BRONCOS!

Good call Zac on Ed McCafferey and Atwater! Can’t believe I forgot to name those two in my response to caseyturban in the last podcast.
