Just split the Norris into 1. Norris-O where offensive statistics and play are a consideration and 2. Norris-D where offensive statistics and play are excluded from the criteria.
Then, as suggested by an Avalanche Facebook Post an award for Best Hair and Best Picket Fence Teeth. And perhaps a special “comeback” award for the player that transitions from a great Pearly White Smile to a great Picket Fence Smile during the course of the season.

Well, there would have to be 2 trophies to hand out.
I forgot the 2 most important awards. NBC will love these because they will really boost the ratings. 1st the “We Got Robbed” award for the most blatently bad call of the season to be voted on by the head coaches. 2nd the “Gary Bettman” trophy for the most disliked player to be voted on by the players,

Great podcast guys, thanks. AJ I love how you brought in a homie, since you despise doing solo-cast (though you’re quite good at it). Andi is awesome. Also Mack and Barzal, they’re awesome. Is it wrong that I kind of hope T. Hall will win (not really) so that Mack gets a little bugged? You know, keep on with the something-to-prove stuff for the next decade or whatever cuz he’s mad about the 48 point season and getting robbed the next year.
