Everybody was talking about juice last off-season. I think we did a nice job of drafting some guys with diverse ability. Less flash, but still the opportunity to spark the O. I remember watching some Hamilton tape and seeing him be the deep and red zone threat frequently, even though he was constantly lining up in the slot. And when they were showing some footage of Sutton after we chose him, I noticed him in the slot and burning people on the outside as well.

I’m amped about the further diagnosis of Sutton. People keep calling him a project, and I was believing that narrative for the most part. But why not rotate these guys in if they can all play at a high level. Keep the defense guessing. Rotate Sutton and Emmanual inside and out, creating matchup advantages and keeping defenders on their heels. You add in some dynamic RB/return play from guys like Hop and Lindsey, we may still be able to find that juice, even if it is one year later than we wanted.

Good work as always Dre.

Appreciate it Preston, and love the optimism and analysis.
I gotta say this film session had me feeling quite positive about the options in the passing game as well. Keenum will have lots of weapons and if the offense can avoid 3rd and longs I expect the OL and QB performances to be significantly improved this season.
It’s an exciting time in Broncos country.

I think to go with that, we need some pop with our run game and I think we have that in our RB stable. I think Freeman is a more explosive CJ. The more we get that running game going, the more it opens up the passing game and our weapons.

No doubt. I think Case can have a nice season. But our run game absolutely has to help him out. If we aren’t a threat on the ground, defenses will not let Case have the kind of season he had last year.

I think we have a better stable of running backs then Minnesota had. I know Cook was killing it but after that they really did not have the best group in my opinion. I think we have a great opportunity for quality balance.
