x-Samuel Girard (S) – Made the playoffs, played an incredible game, scoring a game-changing first goal of the game. Showed his full array of skills

x-Alexander Kerfoot (A) – Made the playoffs

x-Gabriel Landeskog (S) – Made the playoffs, was awesome from the start of the game. Had one goal, two assists, six shots on goal, ten hits, and won eight of 11 faceoffs. Set the tone early that a confident and hungry team followed.

x-Nathan MacKinnon (A+) – Made the playoffs, scored a beautiful third goal that set the Avs up to shut it down in the third and play clean, safe hockey.

The Avalanche as a team played an excellent game and I wouldn’t have given any legitimate grades lower than a ‘C’ tonight. This was a team that (finally) met the moment in a huge way.
