This is for my boy Dre, but I’d love to hear from Zac and RK too. There are some murmurings that the Browns may be in play for Allen at 1. First things first- I’ve learned from the best, and they would say “don’t believe all the reports” and “this is the time of year that sources are most often wrong.” But let’s assume that has some merit. I think the Browns going with Allen at one only helps us out. It’s a reasonable assumption that the Giants would like Darnold as a potential heir to Eli. That gets us all the way to the Jets with Rosen and Mayfield still available. The Jets appear to be high on Mayfield. I feel like this may be the most likely way Rosen falls to us at 5. And even if the Jets choose Rosen, that assures us Mayfield or Barkley at 5 (if Buffalo gives it all away to trade up with the Browns for Mayfield). And that sounds alright to me ?

Hi Guys, listening from sunny Scotland since last off season but a new subscriber! Love the podcast and look forward to my daily dose of Broncos chat.

I do a lot of reading and listening to what’s going on around the league and many people (including you guys) seem less sure about Denver taking a QB at 5; this paired with rumours the Browns are linked with Allen and NYG linked with Darnold. Would this make you reconsider taking a QB? Even trying to trade up to 4?

Out of all the QBs I personally love both Mayfield and Rosen and if they were to both fall I would be delighted to move up a spot to ensure we took one of these guys, thoughts?

Ps- I know rumours are everywhere at the moment but do like this scenario

Certainly up there with the best safeties of the 2016 class. Vonn Bell, Kevin Byard, Karl Joseph, Marcus Maye and Keanu Neal in the class though.

What do you see happening with CJ? I don’t have as high hopes for Booker as many seem to, hasn’t shown nearly enough. Only way I am okay with us trading him is if we’re high on a running back.

Wow, Ryan, not starting the podcast off with a “happy birthday” to Zac is just as bad as not seeing Draft Day.
