Epic choke.

I get the sentiment; it’s a frustrating loss. I still believe this is the youngest team in the NHL going through growing pains, though. This year, I give them the benefit of the doubt, seeing as how unexpected this years success is. I think an epic choke is losing to Edmonton in seven games after being up 3-1 and having a superstar line up. This Avs team is gutting its way through the season, just not quite ready for prime time.

This is exactly what I think.

Maybe they can channel this as motivation to steam roll L.A.

Fair enough but blowing a 2 goal lead with 11 minutes to play and then losing to a mediocre team in overtime is at least a choke.

I was at the game in the “Avs attack twice end”, which turned out to be a mistake as they were rarely in that end. Whatever swagger and confidence they were playing with earlier in the season is clearly gone, they couldn’t even compete a pass; turnover after turnover… icing. Wasted a lot of money on those tickets.
