Let’s lighten up the topic and look into some positives. Major weakness touched on briefly is right tackle. Who are some players on the roster who could be a suprise quality starter? Free Agent possibilities? Realistic Trades? Or Draft pick? And what move would you do to fill that position?

So now the big thought in multiple sources is that the bills may move to the 6th spot in the Draft from the colts. What do you think would be better? bills moving to 6 thinking the BRONCOS are not going to pick a QB or if they move to 4 because they want to make sure they get the QB and not the BRONCOS? If the bills jump to 4, then that almost ensures Barkley will fall to 5 (I don’t think the giants will pass on a replacement QB). Can’t wait for the Draft. As free agency goes by and the more movement there is in the Draft order, the more I don’t know what the BRONCOS are going to do (which is GREAT for the organization and not so much for us fans!). I will definitely be happy with Barkley or Nelson at 5 IF the Broncos don’t get Mayfield as a future QB.

I am glad you talked about the Broncos floor in this podcast. All the hype you have been bringing on Keenum sort of brought us away from what the Broncos STILL need to work on in the lineup. Keenum does need protection in order to have a chance to be they player he was last year. Can he prove us wrong…..maybe, but one year out of 6 is not enough to truly make me feel comfortable that he is at the level the Broncos need to be.

As always, great podcast and I am glad I chose to put my money towards you guys out of all the different Broncos sources on the internet.

Also a suggestion. Ryan, you said you wanted to start the notebook in order to get subscribers to have another avenue to chat with each other and the staff. Can you put a separate link in the team menu to get to some sort of chat room so that we wont have to scroll and find the particular notebook article as more and more articles are written?

The thought of us not taking a QB is driving me crazy! I’m having the same nightmare on repeat, Broncos are on the clock and Mayfield is still available. Goodell walks up to the podium and says, “with the 5th pick in the 2018 NFL draft the Denver Broncos select, Quenton Nelson offensive guard Notre Dame! I then proceed to curse and throw things! #draftAQB #MayfieldtoDenver

Andy from the UK here. I keep hearing a lot of negativity about how many holes the squad has, but with the available cap space can we not expect a trade for a tackle, say Ja’Wuan James, and also a trade for a tight end? Then if we used draft rounds 1 and 2 for a running back and guard in either order, then surely they’ll start too and that’s the starting line up pretty much fixed would you not agree? Then we could use the rest of the draft for depth and future prospects.

Maybe I’m being too optimistic with all that but just hating the negativity coming from all corners right now. What do you reckon?

By the way not suggesting you guys are negative just a lot of it out there right now. Love the show.

Hi this is sam from mexico, everybody is freking out about not getting any free agents to denver, i think there are very few good free agents that were signed the onley one that made sense for the broncos was Solder but not at 15m a year, from the free agents that signed with other teams how would you have signed to the broncos including the contract they signed for.

Hey Guys…Josh from Redwood City. I PROMISE to keep this one shorter than the last comment posted on Andre’s recent podcast, which was shorter than my previous call of a few weeks ago. Efficiency, Josh…efficiency!

Question – Seeing as we’re all a bit miffed in the front office’s lack of, shall I say, aggressiveness in FA…is this a clue as to where they’re going on draft day? Specifically, could this point to a trade down (John, Buffalo is on line 1) to add an extra 1 and another 2? Say we deal 5 for 12/22 and Buff’s #2…we go BPA at 12, we fill the TE hole with Goedert/Hurst at 22, and with our two 2’s we add a RB and a guard. This also affords us the opportunity to package 3’s and 4’s to move up, maybe even grab another #2 and add a right tackle.

Bottom line – seems like we’re making a concerted effort to save cap space instead of signing mediocre players with warts to fill holes…could this point to us knowing we have a trade back opportunity in the pocket, and thus will have ammo to fill all these holes with (hopefully) newer, younger, impact guys who have yet to grow warts?

So, I had 10 shots of espresso in my Starbucks this morning (yeah star rewards) and I have been at work since 5:30am. Probably why I have been on the comment section so much this morning.
