How does Rats being in Top 15 hurt Nate’s chances for the Hart??

Because it can be seen as more of the 2 of them being co-MVP’s to the team. Thus hurting MacKinnon’s chances.

I don’t think Rantanen in the top 15 will hurt. Malkin has Crosby and Kessel. Kucherov has Stamkos and Hedman. McDavid has…well, okay, maybe it will hurt if Mc and Mac are close.

Just based on where the two teams sit in the standings, that should be a non-issue.

I think that argument is silly. So no Hart for Malkin because Crosby is good? If anything Rantanen’s success builds a stronger case because he is not an 80 point guy without MacKinnon centering.

I was going to make this point as well. I haven’t looked it up, but I’d be willing to bet that a large percentage (like most) of Rant’s goals are primary assisted by Mack.

Warsofsky played a great first. Still not great on the clear. I think he deserves better than you gave him though

Bourque did too, but I expect more from him at this point

Kerf needs a week off. I vote for Seimens over Warsofsky.
