I think I am the only one who thinks Sam Darnold hurt himself by not throwing at the Combine. I get that he is must likely the number one overall pick and he had nothing to gain, but I feel like he wanted to throw to guys he felt comfortable with to showcase his talent. Unless the team he goes to drafts his WR, TE, and RB, he is going to have to throw to players he has never thrown to before. In my opinion he has fell and the other three ( Mayfield, Rosen, and Allen ) have moved up. Where do you guys stand on this?

Im currently split between getting barkely in the draft and getting rosen, mayfield or allen in the draft. I just think the qbs in the draft are better options in the long run than Kirk Cousins but Barkley is a once in a generation type of talent and I would also hate to miss the opportunity on him to be a Bronco. Well i guess what my question is, would you rather get kirk cousins and barkley or rosen, mayfield, or allen and get a running back like Kalen Ballage or Derrius Guice?

I have gotten to a point where I am excited in both scenarios- one where we get Kirk and one we don’t. I’d like to look at a scenario for each and have you guys pick your favorite. In both scenarios I will have a trade up in round 1 for consistency.

Scenario 1:
QB: Kirk Cousins
Rd 1: Trade up for Barkley
Releases: Talib, CJ
Big Signings: Trey Burton
Missed out: Nate Solder contact doesn’t quite work out with money to Cousins. We move our attention to Trey Burton. Decide to keep Watson.
Reasonable Assumption: We take a tackle with our next draft pick (wherever that is)

Scenario 2:
QB/Rd 1: trade up for Josh Rosen
Big Signings: Nate Solder, ASJ, potentially Taylor Gabriel cheap
Releases: M. Watson, CJ (keep Talib)
Reasonable Assumption: We draft a playmaker with our best draft pick. Potentially best player available for nearly any position
