Think about this for a minute: LeBron James is now 31-years-old. Times flies as that previous sentence made me feel older than dirt. Podcasting with the 24-year-old Harrison Wind also makes this 33-year-old writer feel old, too.

The scene at Pepsi Center after the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Denver Nuggets, 93-87, was a surreal one. Los Angeles Rams owner Stan Kroenke, President and Governor of the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche Josh Kroenke, The King of Park Hill and former NBA Finals MVP Chauncey Billups, Executive Vice President of the Avalanche Joe Sakic and The King LeBron James were all conversing in the back hallway between the visitors locker room and the Nuggets locker room post-game. There had to be a few happy birthday wishes to James, who celebrates his birthday today, along the way. It was a special scene and Harrison and I comment on it to start the show.

We delved into the Cavaliers game, as well as the week that was for the Denver Nuggets. A week that saw Kobe Bryant retain his status as Nuggets Killer, and included Randy Foye coming alive against the Phoenix Suns. You can’t talk Nuggets without discussing Will Barton‘s continued success, and Jusuf Nurkic‘s return is near (along with Emmanuel Mudiay and Danilo Gallinari).

A shorter, but hopefully sweet podcast for Nuggets Nation.
