Brock Osweiler has game experience versus New England Patriots

Our Ryan Koenigsberg pointed out on twitter that Sunday will not be the first time Brock Osweiler has had game reps against the New England Patriots.

Broncos then coach John Fox tried to utilize Osweiler’s height by putting the 6’8″ quarterback in to attempt to Brock a field goal in 2013, a game the Broncos lost in overtime to the Patriots in Foxboro.

Vic Lombardi of CBS 4 saw Ryan’s tweet and promised to ask Osweiler about this very play.

Vic did just that and showed the gif to Osweiler in his Wednesday presser at the UC Health Training Center.

“I was still confused about that,” Osweiler said laughingly. “I thought ‘Coach, you want me to go in?’ That has nothing to do with what is going to take place this Sunday, but you’re right, I have played one play against the Patriots.”
