If you want to catch a glimpse of rookie Emmanuel Mudiay and the Denver Nuggets you better live in the Rocky Mountain region, have access to NBATV, buy NBA League Pass or be satisfied with a SportsCenter highlight package. The Nuggets are one of just three teams including the Philadelphia 76ers and Detroit Pistons who will not be shown on national television once this year.

The Nuggets will open their regular season Oct. 28 when they travel to Houston to play former Denver guard Ty Lawson and the Houston Rockets, while their first home game will come two nights later on Oct. 30 against rookie of the year Andrew Wiggins, No. 1 overall pick Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Denver will also visit reigning MVP Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in Oakland on Nov. 6 and host the world champions at Pepsi Center on Nov. 22.

Head coach Michael Malone will have to wait until the second half of the season to get revenge on his former team, the Sacramento Kings. The Nuggets travel to northern California on Feb. 19 in their first game after the All-Star break and will host former head coach George Karl and Co. on Feb. 23 in Denver.

Despite commissioner Adam Silver making it a “priority” to eliminate the dreaded four-games-in-five-nights from teams’ schedules, Denver will still succumb to the scheduling quirk twice. The Nuggets travel to San Antonio and Oklahoma City on Dec. 26 and 27 before hosting LeBron James, former Nuggets’ center Timofey Mozgov and the Cleveland Cavaliers in Denver on Dec. 29. Denver will then travel to Portland to take on the Trail Blazers a night later.

The Nuggets’ second exhausting string of games comes in late March when Denver takes on the Clippers in Los Angeles on Mar. 27, then hosts Dallas on Mar. 28 before an off day. The Nuggets then play in Memphis on Mar. 30 and travel to New Orleans on Mar. 31.
