Just minutes after our staff writer Jake Shapiro published his story on the Buffs two commitments between Saturday and Monday, the Buffs picked up arguably their biggest commitment of the year.
Johnny Huntley, a three star receiver out of Florida, with more than 20 FBS offers, including Loisville, TCU, Tennessee, and West Virginia, is number eight on the Colorado commitment list.

Johnny Huntley on pledge to CU (I): "When I took my visit, it felt like home and I feel like I have a chance to play early if I go there.”

Huntley (Part II): “I'll get to play Pac-12 football and compete early and be part of building something special. I want to be part of it.”

Huntley (Part III): "I thought committing and getting it out of the way was a good idea and Colorado was the No. 1 school on my list.”

After watching that tape I’ve decided to nickname him High-Point Huntley.
The importance of this commit can not be understated, Huntley is a big-time football player out of a big-time football state that the Buffs have never had much success recruiting in. Not to mention Huntley’s connection with teammate Anthony Julmisse, another highly sough after prospect for the Buffs.
Of course, recruits love to do this type of stuff, but Julmisse has been retweeting CU fans all day saying they hope he’s next. Maybe this recruiting train just keeps on rolling.
Oh, and Craig Watt Jr. possibly the Buffs top target in this class, responded to Huntley’s commitment tweet with this.

Where there’s smoke…. Ah, never mind, but it’s probably worth keeping one eye on the ol’ twitter machine and another on BSNBuffs.com today!
