For the second straight day the Colorado Buffaloes have received a LOI from a three-star (Rivals) defensive player. On Thursday, Chris Mulumba, an outside linebacker and defensive end from Helsinki, Finland, gave his autograph to the Buffs.

Mulumba comes in at 6-foot-4, 280-pounds and joins the Buffs after spending one season at Diablo Valley College. He then signed with Central Florida after his sophomore season but did not attend school there so he sat out the year. He will have two years to complete his two remaining seasons of eligibility.
The defensive prospect was also offered by Central Michigan, Fresno State and Iowa State.

He could be an option in their 3-4 at outside linebacker as they will lose Jimmie Gilbert to graduation. Mulumba is the third JUCO transfer that the Buffs have signed also nabbing Dante Wigley and Javier Edwards.
