BOULDER – The Colorado Buffaloes Athletic Director Rick George stopped by CU’s weekly Tuesday press conference to touch on his thoughts on CU Athletics. After speaking to donors, he believes this is one of CU’s most successful fall seasons in history especially with every fall team being ranked in the top 25 at some point thus far. George touched on being happy with every team but that he has seen a change in the football program. He believes the new found leadership the football team has acquired in the locker room is what gives him confidence in the future. He also trusts that the team controls their destiny in the Pac-12 South. George mentioned his thoughts on head coach Mike MacIntyre’s process, the increase in student attendance during football games and more.
