It did not take long for cornerback Aqib Talib to shine in his return to Raymond James Stadium.
The former Buccaneer intercepted the very first pass of the game, thrown by second-year star Jameis Winston, and returned it to the 12-yard line of the Buccaneers; setting up a Siemian-to-Thomas touchdown the very next play.
“He’s playing special. Obviously, he’s having a big year,” Head Coach Gary Kubiak told media after the rainy win.
Talib picked off Winston a second time later in the game. His three picks so far are good enough for second in the league behind Kansas City’s Marcus peters who has four.
