ENGLEWOOD, Colo – The Denver Broncos have made a move on their practice squad, the team announced Tuesday afternoon.
Denver has signed inside linebacker Reshard Cliett to their 10-man squad, releasing rookie linebacker Kyle Kragen to open up the spot.
Cliett is a second-year player out of the University of South Florida, he was drafted in the sixth round in 2015 by the Houston Texans. His career in Houston, though, got off on the wrong foot when he tore his ACL and meniscus in the very first training camp practice last season and he was eventually waived when the team pared their roster to 53 men earlier this month.
A product of Thomasville, Ga. Cliett was impressive during his senior season in Tampa, notching six sacks and 7.5 tackles for loss. He spent his first two seasons as a teammate of fellow Bronco Kayvon Webster.
In other roster news, the Broncos released Garrett Graham from the injured reserve list and practice squad backer Vontarrius Dora changed his number from 68 to 59.
