Happy birthday, Devocio Butler!

As a present, we projected you as a starter for Colorado State Rams men’s basketball in 2016-17. OK, it wasn’t because it’s your birthday, but because you’re a talented young man who looks to be able to push Gian Clavell as the team’s top shooter/scorer this coming fall.

Butler comes to Colorado State via Hill College where he averaged 17.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists last year as a sophomore. CSU hopes he can continue that hot shooting — 35 percent from beyond the arc — and has some intensity on the defensive end, which is of the utmost importance to Larry Eustachy.
