Ali was the most transcendent athlete of all time and Ryan discussed his memories of him and his impact on the sports and social world. The second trend was on Aqib Talib being shot over the weekend in Dallas and Ryan detailed some of his past transgressions. The disappointing NBA Finals was the subject of the third trend and Ryan closed with some thoughts on the Rockies road trip thus far.
In the second segment, Ryan welcomed Sam Cowhick (@SamCowhick) to the show as he broke the news last night Aqib Talib’s gun shot wound was self inflicted. They discussed possible suspensions and looked ahead to mandatory mini-camp this week.
In the third segment, Harrison Wind (@NBAWind) joined the show to discuss the NBA Finals and what impact a Cleveland loss could have on the Nuggets.
