BSN Avalanche Podcast: World Cup and Vegas, baby

The BSN Avalanche Podcast returns this week and hosts J.J. Jerez and AJ Haefele tackle the news before turning the attention towards the hometown Colorado Avalanche. There’s plenty of talk about the World Cup, what to watch for, who to root for, and Team Europe gets compared to leftover pizza.

The next topic of discussion follows Adrian Dater’s report that the NHL will indeed vote for a Las Vegas expansion team in 2017-18 and the guys break down why it’s exciting, why it’s good for the league, and take the smallest peek at who the Avalanche might end up losing in the expansion draft next summer.

The third segment gets into the recently-completed Memorial Cup and the bevy of Avs prospects who competed for the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. Lots of prospect talk in this segment that includes a brief look back at the early returns from the 2015 NHL Draft.
