2016 Rocky Mountain Showdown Kickoff and TV information announced

The 2016 Rocky Mountain Showdown against in-state rival CU on Friday, Sept 2. will kickoff at 6:00 p.m. (MT), and will be nationally televised by ESPN, Colorado State announced Wednesday.

The information was released today by the PAC-12 Conference as a part of a package involving 2016 matchup’s with the Mountain West. Colorado will be the home team for the 16th meeting between the two schools at Sports Authority Field at High.

The Rams and Buffaloes have split the past four meetings, with CSU winning in 2012 and 2014 and CU winning the 2015 game by a final score of 27-24 in Overtime.

Fans may purchase tickets for the game today as a part of a seven-game ticket package or three-game mini-plan. Single game tickets for the Rocky Mountain Showdown will be available for purchase on June 14 and all other games on Aug. 1.
