Episode 5 – Ryan welcomed in his former co-hosts of The Fan Late Night, Shawn Drotar and James Gomez for today’s podcast. The guys talked about the reinstatement of Tom Brady’s four-game suspension and the precedent the NFL is trying to set, regardless of the public perception of tarnishing their most popular player. They also discussed Sam Bradford demanding the Eagles to trade him to another team and how much leverage/gripe he really has with Philadelphia.

In the second segment, the guys broke down Sunday’s Rockies collapse vs the Dodgers and if the loss was part of a systemic problem or if there are reasons to be encouraged by this season’s team. Ryan challenged the guys to find incremental ways this team could improve as soon as next season and both Shawn and James think the Rockies need to look outside of the organization for a new manager.

In the third segment, the guys shifted their focus to the NBA Playoffs and the news on Steph Curry’s MCL injury that could sideline him for at least 2 weeks. The guys discussed the impact this had on the Western Conference playoffs as well as the impact it may have on the inevitable NBA champion.

The final segment was filled with NFL Draft conversation and predictions on positions the Broncos may target at the end of the first round.
