The Denver Broncos have signed safeties Shiloh Keo and Brandian Ross to respective one-year deals, the team announced Monday morning.
Keo spent the end of the 2015 season with the Broncos, playing in six games total, including two in the postseason.
A fifth-year player out of Idaho, Keo has totaled 67 tackles and three interceptions in his 46 career regular season games. He spent the first part of his career in Houston, where he was drafted in the fifth round.
Also a fifth-year player, Ross has spent time with the Raiders, Dolphins and Chargers after originally signing with Green Bay as an undrafted free agent out of Youngstown State.
The safety started 23 games with the Raiders between 2013 and 2014 and was third on the team in tackles during that time. He played in just one game last season for San Diego.
The signings come on the first day of the Broncos offseason program at a position where the team needed depth desperately.
Notable:
Despite having yet to sign his restricted free agent tender, Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall is at the team facility today and is expected to participate in workouts. Marshall would have to sign a special waiver to relieve the Broncos of liability because he is not currently under contract with the team.
