Colorado State University might as well be called “Construction Site University,” just look at the incredible amount of new buildings going up currently.

While nearly every building being constructed for academic use, the on-campus stadium is special due to its main aim to bring fun and entertainment to people who go to school and those who don’t; the on-campus stadium, of course.
OK, onto the good stuff.
This week is huge for the on-campus, multipurpose stadium. Up to this point, it didn’t much resemble a stadium, it was simply cement pillars and the inner bowels of what will make up the part of the stadium we will all interact with.

The new structural steel went in on Monday and continued to take a huge leap forward on Tuesday. The first set of pictures are from Monday, April 11. The second set, with the darker, rain-filled cloudy skies, are from Tuesday, April 12. Enjoy!
These photos (as always) are taken from Lake Street, looking north. To begin, here’s the east side of the stadium, a look northeast from the point of the photo.
Here’s that structural steel from Monday to Tuesday. First, Monday.
And this, from Tuesday.
This is a look at the east side, which is also coming along nicely. Just not as amazing to look at as the quickly developing west side.
And finally, a quick video of the work on the stadium on Monday, April 11.
