Former Heisman trophy winner and first round pick Johnny Manziel and the Denver Broncos are back in the headlines, but not for the reason you might think. Johnny Football told TMZ Saturday night that he and former teammate and Super Bowl MVP Von Miller are roommates in the greater Los Angeles area.
While at The Nice Guy, a nightclub in Hollywood, Manziel told a TMZ reporter that he is starting to worry about his “image problem” and the best way to solve the issue would be to live with a standout in the NFL.
“I’m living out here with my guy, Von Miller, Everybody knows Von Miller. Super Bowl MVP, Von Miller. My brother. I’m living with him right now. We’re getting our life together.”
Miller, who is in LA finishing his stint with hit ABC show “Dancing with the Stars,” has been advocating over the past few weeks for Denver to sign the troubled quarterback but multiple reports say that simply will not happen at this time. Even head coach Gary Kubiak was seen talking with Manziel about a future with the organization, but Kubiak could have been just doing his due diligence by talking to the free agent, or lending a helping hand to the former Texas A&M star.
When asked if he would want to play with the defending Super Bowl champions, Manziel seemed somewhat incoherent.
“John Elway, great dude. Kubiak, Aggie, my man. Listen, great organization,” he said. “Anywhere I get picked up bro is a blessing.” Manziel went on to add, “Listen, whatever happens, I love ball, I want to play. That’s the team I want to go to.”
The TMZ reporter says that he frequently sees Manziel outside of the same club and the former Heisman trophy winner continues to defend his behavior. “There’s a difference between partying and being out of control.”

Mike Klis confirmed that Manziel and Miller are not roommates in Los Angeles; they are merely living in the same city. This sounds like a Hollywood story and it just goes to show you cannot trust everything you hear outside of a nightclub.
