Welcome to the first PGA Tour shot of the week presented by Fossil Trace Golf Course. This will give you an opportunity to catch the best shots every week in case you didn’t have the opportunity see it live.
We might do a couple of these this week with the Masters Tee’ing off on Thursday but our first submission comes courtesy of the Par-3 contest at Augusta on Wednesday.
The Par-3 contest is usually one of the most fun days of the golf season and Wednesday’s round didn’t disappoint featuring a record 8 hole-in-ones on the day.
Perhaps the most impressive showing was when Justin Thomas and Rickie Fowler both aced the same hole in back-to-back tee shots. Fowler is our Shot of The Week poster boy so it’s fitting that he’s featured in the first Shot of The Week post.
One hole … two aces.
Incredible stuff from @RickieFowler and @JustinThomas34. https://t.co/ms4HPYFB0P

Honorable mention goes to Gary Player who still has it at 80 years old.

Jimmy Walker also set a new Par-3 scoring record with his 8 under, 19 performance Wednesday.
