Two more Broncos free agents will be playing in new colors next season. Omar Bolden is headed to the Chicago Bears while Vernon Davis will join the Washington Redskins.

Bolden, a return specialist with the Broncos, was effective when healthy, averaging 22.8 yards per return on kickoffs and averaged 24.6 yards on punts. His time as the deep man for Denver highlighted by an 83-yard punt return touchdown last season against the Colts. He also saw 48 snaps on the defensive side of the ball in reserve action.

Bolden’s contract with the Bears is one year.

Davis, once considered a major coup of an addition, never shined in his time with the Broncos. He caught 20 balls for 201 yards but his time in Denver will mostly be remembered for the passes he dropped. He also joins his new team on a one-year deal, giving him a chance to potentially finish his career in his hometown of Washington D.C.
