Evan Mathis has found a new home back in the NFC, signing a one-year deal worth $6 million.
Cards have agreed to terms on 1-year deal with FA guard Evan Mathis
— Mark Dalton (@CardsMarkD) March 16, 2016
Mathis becomes the third member of the Broncos offensive line after Ryan Harris (signed with Steelers) and Louis Vasquez (released) to depart during free agency.
After signing a one-year deal in training camp, Mathis appeared in 16 games for the Broncos, starting 12 in 2015. Mathis spends a lot of time in the offseason in Arizona so the Cardinals continue their good offseason by adding the veteran lineman. The Broncos will head into the draft with Max Garcia as their only sure starter at guard.
