Plays-that-make-you-Smile-Twin-AspenSince we met last, the Denver Nuggets have gone 2-2 with wins over the Detroit Pistons and Washington Wizards, and losses against the Atlanta Hawks and Boston Celtics.

As always, our An Nguyen (follow him on Twitter, seriously — best video clips around) provides us with so many plays to choose from, but we can only pick the best of the best from the past week.

Without further ado, let’s get to the Top 5 plays of the week from the Nuggets.

Play 1: Gary Harris turns on the jets on the 1-on-3 fastbreak and the Pistons’ Kentavious Caldwell-Pope cannot play catch up.

Play 2: It wasn’t pretty against the Atlanta Hawks, but Nikola Jokic‘s behind the back dribble to avoid the steal, and subsequent pass to Danilo Gallinari was a thing of beauty.

Play 3: Will Barton with the incredible finish on the up-and-under layup. Check out where he took off from and where he landed, woweezowee.

Play 4: Nikola Jokic with the rainbow fadeaway shot against the Wizards that caused Altitude TV’s Scott Hastings to exclaim, “That shot, I think if it were outside might cause rain.”

Play 5: Kenneth Faried prevents a momentum changing play for the Wizards’ Bradley Beal by meeting him at the summit of Mt. Mutombo (shoutout An Nguyen for the reference) and getting the block on the dunk attempt.

If you don’t remember Mt. Mutombo, here are a couple reminders.
