noooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!! when am I going to see the bash bros. D pairing of Zadorov and Mironov together? cmon Beds roll the dice and stick them w eachother. what have you to lose? two big tough russians knocking out Ovechkin or anybody else that dares come into the zone w them two on the ice. besides it will help Mironov out being w someone that speaks the native tongue.

looks like they wont w Barrie injured I’m afraid. Barberio lucked out w that injury to Barrie cause otherwise he’d be benched for sure. but back on the 2nd unit? that doesnt make sense to me. knock him down to third unit and put Mironov on the second pairing w Zadorov!!!

I’ve been hoping they’d put Z and Miro together since the beginning. Also they need to stop scratching Z, esp. for Barbs or I’m going to seriously start worrying about Bednar’s aptitude. I guess Nemeth is still out? Shouldn’t he be in for Barry?

yeah like the BSN podcast says, its time to let the young players play and deal w their faults. I would think having the two russians together would be optimal for both their growth and let them grow together and let Mironov be comfortable w a partner that can not only communicate w him adequately, but allow both players to just destroy the other teams players and strike some fear in the opposition. we’ll see how things go tonite… Go Av’s Go!!!!!

I can’t believe we’re going to get to watch a real live Avs game tonight! Seems like it’s been a month. Go Avs!

Yeah agree don’t like seeing Wilson on the 2nd always envisioned him with Soderberg and Comeau forming a veteran line that can play against any other line anywhere on the ice. Jost needs to get healthy and back in a groove and better for him to do that in the AHL IMO. Andrigheto is confounding to me, dude can skate and hand shoot, but does not appear to enjoy defense at all.

yeah I agree about Andrighetto, but you know what, its the same as Yak, not every player is going to be committed to defense all the time. heavy offensive players I dont think should be punished for not being down in the trenches every shift. granted, everyone should pull on the rope and as long as you dont compromise lots of scoring chances, certain players should be give a little slack and allowed to be allowed to generate offense by being in position to get open and zip away w a pass. am I crazy for thinking that?

Duchene, Kerfoot, and Yak caught lightning in a bottle. I wish we would see more effort go towards trying to keep that scoring going!
