On just the third play of the second half, Broncos’ quarterback Brock Osweiler targeted wide receiver Demaryius Thomas but the ball was tipped at the line of scrimmage—only for Thomas to catch it anyway. The circus play was good for a gain of 17 yards and would ultimately result in Thomas’ second touchdown of the season.
