Based on the line combinations I’m seeing this morning, these look to be what they’ll be against the New York Rangers.

That means Carl Soderberg is a healthy scratch. Pretty surprising, given that he’s a $4.75 million player, with three years left on his contract.
The defensive combinations appear to be less certain, and so I’ll update those in a bit.
One note: the Avs will know at noon today whether anyone took Joe Colborne off the waiver wire. If not, the Avs could send him to San Antonio. Or they could keep him around still as a spare forward. More later.

So how long do you think it lasts before Jost earns himself more minutes? And how is likely to struggle and get replaced by him? You have to love the youth movement right now. That’s a young group of players.
