The Louisiana product is a composite three-star recruit and ranked as the No. 40 JUCO recruit on 247sports composite rankings.
As a freshman at ICC, Abrams finished with 30 tackles, three tackles-for-loss, three interceptions and three pass breakups. Abrams plans to graduate in December and he will have three years to play two for the Colorado Buffaloes.
The Buffs struck gold with the Ahkello Witherspoon via the JUCO route and they’re trying to do it again with fellow 6-foot-3 corners Kevin George, added in the 2017 class, and now Adams.
Abrams’ decision on Friday came down to three schools, Oklahoma State, Mississippi State and Colorado. He also held offers from Arkansas, West Virginia, Southern Miss, Memphis and UCLA according to 247sports.
