The Colorado Buffaloes have added another player out of DeSoto High School in the Dallas area of Texas. Six-foot-three, 310-pound offensive guard Josh Jynes.

Jynes is the first DeSoto commit of the 2018 class, he joins his high school teammates K.D. Nixon (also his cousin) and Laviska Shenault. Jynes like Nixon and Shenault is rated as a three-star, last year they won the 6A Division II State Title, the first state title in the history of DeSoto High School.

Jynes had four other offers, all somewhat smaller schools around the Texas region. But he represents the first in 2018 in what is a budding pipeline for the Buffs, as they’ve already offered four more kids just from DeSoto, let alone the other schools around Dallas.

He joins Blake Stenstrom, Joshka Gustav, Max Borghi, Walker Culver, and Ray Robinson as already committed Buffaloes for the class of 2018.
