Tyson Jost, Colorado’s first pick at No. 10 out of the University of North Dakota, scored his first NHL goal Thursday night at The Can with his ever-supporting grandfather in the audience. The goal came off a pass from captain Gabriel Landeskog and was tipped by Rocco Grimaldi before finding the stick of Jost for the top-shelf beauty. Of course, the Avs would go on to lose the game to the Wild 4-3 on a controversial call to continue their historically bad season, but not without sprinkling some highlights here and there.
