The Colorado Buffaloes added another commit to their 2018 recruiting class on Thursday night. Three-star TE/OLB Joshka Gustav granted the Buffs with his word.

The 6-foot-3, 225 pounder has been in the United States for the last three years but hails from Germany. He’s been working with former NFL linebacker Bjorn Werner, pictured in the tweet above, during his transition to American Football.

Since he hasn’t been in the United States for long it took awhile for scouts to take notice but he’s had some great showings at camps and has recently picked up offers from UNLV and Oregon State.

From buffstampede.com, which you should totally subscribe to:

After working with the tight ends at the SoCal Under Armour All-American Regional Camp in late February, Gustav was named a top 10 offensive performer by Scout. And at Nike’s well-attended The Opening Regional Camp in Los Angeles last weekend, he ranked No. 6 in the receivers/tight ends group.

The Buffaloes have been picking up a lot of international recruits recently, seemingly almost creating an international pipeline. They now have a German, two Australians, a Mexican, a Cameroonian and a Finish player.

New defensive coordinator D.J. Eliot wasted no time on the recruiting trail, taking care of the recruiting services for Gustav.
