The Denver Nuggets have been on fire over the past month, winning 11 of their past 17 games and none bigger than the 132-110 blowout of the defending Western Conference champions Monday at the Pepsi Center in what could very well be a first-round matchup.
Denver tied an NBA record for threes made in a regular season game with 24 makes beyond the arc, all while shooting 60 percent from downtown. The victory also saw budding superstar Nikola Jokic recorded his second career triple-double and saw the emergence of Juancho Hernangomez, who scored the record-tying three.
The total team effort pushed the Nuggets to seventh in the league in three-point percentage and fifth in total offense all while keeping pace with Oklahoma City for a coveted playoff spot in the grueling West.
