DENVER — The Nuggets have signed Johnny O’Bryant to a second 10-day contract, the team announced Monday.
O’Bryant, 23, appeared in two games for Denver during his first 10-day deal, a loss to Memphis where the 6-foot-9 four-man played seven minutes and scored two points, and the Nuggets’ most recent loss in San Antonio, when O’Bryant scored five points on 2-3 shooting in nine minutes. O’Bryant’s first 10-day contract expired Sunday.
O’Bryant spent most of the season with the Northern Arizona Suns where he was recently named D-League Performer of the Week before his call up. He averaged 17.5 points and 8.8 rebounds in 22 D-League games.
O’Bryant will likely be in uniform Monday night when the Nuggets host the Mavericks.
Denver’s roster now stands at 15.
