DENVER — The Denver Nuggets have signed forward Johnny O’Bryant to a 10-day contract, General Manager and Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Tim Connelly announced Thursday.
O’Bryant is available for Denver’s game Thursday versus Phoenix and will wear No. 9. The signing means veteran Mo Williams has been waived.
O’Bryant, 23, appeared in 66 games for the Milwaukee Bucks last season and averaged 3.0 points and 1.7 rebounds per game. The 6-foot-9 forward was recently named D-League Performer of the Week earlier this month and is currently averaging 17.5 points and 8.8 rebounds in 22 games for the Northern Arizona Suns.
The Nuggets roster now stands at 15.
