I totally agree with Chimichanga Chris! This pod is amazing! I guess once you go Zac (and Ryan) you never go back! I do have a question though. What position should the broncos be looking at in the first round of the draft next year?
Jdfry
I read the round table article you 2 and Andre put out. It mentioned how Pat Bowlen has never had 2 losing seasons as a franchise owner. If that happens this year, is it really his fault given his condition and how little he must be involved in the team now? It seems unfair to taint that record because Elway hired VJ and they haven’t performed. Thoughts? Thanks!

As of last year I am a real life pastor but no one has ever actually called me pastor Rhett (probably because I’m 24 and a youth minister and don’t look very pastoral) So if anyone needs Jesus and is in New Hampshire I’m your guy!
As for alcohol, where two or more New Englanders are gathered someone has brought a six pack, and I don’t know about you, but I worship the Jesus that turned water into wine! So yes, I drink.
Much love,
Actual Pastor Rhett

BLUF; I’m still sour about Kelly
Followed through on my promise and renewed my sub for another year. You guys bringing up Mixon’s past just got me thinking about how Kelly got kind of shafted. Guys like Mixon, Hill, Hunt, Gordon, Big Ben, Pacman etc have been accused of or done far worse than Kelly did and keep getting chances. Keenum has been doing better, which I called the day Chad got released, but if he goes down (touch wood) this season is over. On to this week, the Broncos roll and get 4 more turnovers. I want to see Von focus his inner Jim More and talk about playoffs, playoffs?!

What if Vance Joseph is a good coach?
Pay Dak
What if the Broncos can win away?

Broncos are 4-1 this year after Von Miller’s “We’ll kick their ass.”
BadOne88
4-2* we lost to KC and HOU 🙁 we should be 5-1 after that statement i wish we closed that HOU game out
Pay Dak
It just dawned on me. We don’t have a losing record.
Pay Dak
I somehow had blocked out that second Chiefs game from that stretch. Thank you for the correction – still 4-2 after such a big step up and statement. If we win out, that’s the moment the season changed.
Pay Dak
If Phil continues this season he’s having, he goes from UDFA to captain in one year.

BadOne Log 10:
I hope ya’ll enjoy the victory Monday recording i sent in. I have 2 questions and then some helmet stickers cause why not.
1) Ryan and Zac can you guys explain to us how you hear about the news about the injuries during the game? it seems like the press gets the info at the same time based on twitter timelines. I am curious how that info gets to you guys.
2) do you think we will look for some CB help on the streets, bring pac back or maybe Sean Smith?
I have two low key helmet stickers (so not Lindsey). First one goes to John Elway for drafting and building this rosters of just pure talent, The depth on this team is insane right now. to lose 3 o linemen, 2 linebackers, 2 CB, trade DT, and so on and still compete is impressive. Second one goes to VJ, i mean this man has the entire roster ready to go since the bye. He made some bad game management the first half of the year but holly crap has he coached this team to never quit and to buy in. I lied third sticker goes to Von for playing the RPO with such discipline and providing none-stop pressure.
Sorry for being long winded.
Ya Boi, BadOne

What up fellas! Let’s gooo!
Phillip Lindsay is absolutely the heart of this team! Going forward if VJ can just take the advice from you guys on the pod and if we can just learn how to tackle properly….we’ll win the superbowl haha!
Quick Hypothetical,
1.) If we go 7-8 and ultimately fall flat for the rest of the season, would Mike Macarthy be in the mix for coaching candidates?
2.) What does the “K” represent in “KFC”?
KENTUCKY! “Kentucky Fried Chicken”
Also could you give a shout out to
CourtlandChubbs88
Could you quickly give a shout out to Michael Y and Jakson for being a fan of BSN! Thanks guys!

I couldn’t be happier we pulled out a dub! .500 baby! It wasn’t pretty by any means. Missed tackles, a missed FG, too many 4 and outs in my opinion as Keenum didn’t have a great game. But we found a way to win through some big time plays from Simmons and Chubb. I know we are absolutely devastated by Chris Harris’s injury, but this is a good stretch of teams for guys like Yiadom and Langley to get some valuable playing time. All the best for Chris and Derek.

What a fantastic game. I’m so thankful I’m a Denver Bronco fan. These next couple of years are going to be great.
I think Denver will win out. But I also think we’re in trouble. Even if we make it to the playoffs by having Strap Harris out for the rest of the season is such a killer. Out of all the positions and people who could have possibly been hurt Harris was the absolute last one that should of been. But that being said it’ll be good experience for Yiadom to get thrown in the fire and get some starting experience, I think he is coming along nicely! I though he had a fantastic game!! (That helmet to helmet flag was straight up BS, refs were horrible yet again)
But I digress, like I said I’m very excited for the upcoming years and am starting to like VJ as a coach! Think he’s finally found his footing, shout out to John Elway for not pulling the plug too early!! And I am in love with our Pass Rush and Running Game!! It’ll take us to far far places!!
GO BRONCOS!!!
That's what She said
Should Denver consider Mike McCarthy? I don’t think Broncos dump VJ now but if McCarthy is available after the season would he be a good fit?

A couple thoughts and questions: There is a show on Netflix called, “Somebody Please Feed Phil” can we keep giving Lindsey the the ball. And Courtland Sutton best game of the year? Just give him a chance to come down with it. Also Garrett Bolles…Looking clean and leading the way on the long TD score.
Now questions:CB specifically Chris Harris heard he could be back in a month…Really??? Also bring back Jones for depth?
Also should we start worrying about Royce Freeman, not looking great and letting them take one from him?
Appreciate you all,

Hey fellas, what’s with D Hamilton being an absolute non-factor this entire season? I see him on the field often. From the preseason, I would have thought he was going to be a 30-40 catch guy. Is he another Cody Latimer (tons of hype with no results)?
Speaking of WRs, anybody seen Tim Patrick?
Cullin' for Mullens
Wow wow wow. So much news to report on for the Broncos, let alone the whole league. I’m ready for a looong podcast. Good luck fellas.
The narrative of this game just wasn’t as good as these past weeks:
And now the NFL and its team members
Have entered the all important month of December
Where playoff teams will be decided
And the good and the bad are divided
Broncos Country were high on believin’
Looking to make their season record even
As they galloped their way to the Cincinnati jungle
To face Marvin Lewis and the Jeff Driskel led Bungles
Apart from the inevitable Phil Lindsay dominance
The first quarter was one of punter prominence
But this game was one that could not have ended sooner
As the injuries began with Chris Harris Jr.
The Broncos continued to lose Wolfe and Jewell
But this Denver team only used it as fuel
After a big gain from Booker, with a heart of pure gold,
Into the end zone Phillip Lindsay strolled
A Bengal field goal, they were now fighting back
But that didn’t mean the Broncos wouldn’t attack
And just like a tailor sewing a button
Keenum thread the touchdown pass to Sutton
Things were not going Cincinnati’s way
As Driskel threw his only pick of the day
And as far as I’m concerned, it was the end of the game
Once he was given the ball. Need I say his name?
Farewell to the Bengals, Bronco fans bid
As right through the defense went the Colorado Kid
The kid who has kept our season alive
Went all the way for a run of sixty-five
Charging toward the playoffs with three straight wins
The final test for the Broncos begins
And though I am assured, I cannot help but feel sullen
As next week they face the legend. Nick Mullens.

Greetings from the UK! I have been an avid listener since the pre-season and wanted to give a little back so finally took the plunge and subscribed due to the insane Cyber Monday deal.
Being a Brit the NFL sits in a niche market. I only started watching NFL in 2011, my first full game I watched was the Broncos vs Steelers in the Wildcard game! After that DT OT touchdown I knew I had to be a Broncos fan! Spending the next 4 years learning the game whilst watching Peyton under centre was a privilege. I have since made the pilgrimage over to Colorado (for our honeymoon) to catch a game at Mile High.
The last few weeks have been fun, and I love seeing us win so much that talk of tanking earlier in the season just felt wrong. Whether we make the playoffs or not I have seen enough to be excited for the future, and that includes with this coaching staff.
So my question, Emmanuel Sanders, Derek Wolfe and Ron Leary all have big cap numbers for next season but with little dead money, do you think any may be cap casualties to free up some money for free agency?
Keep up the good work!

Obviuosly the Chris Harris injury is a huge hit. What will the team do if he hits IR? Who is out there that can be brought in?
NickCox
ARC? Is he a possibility?
NickCox
ARC? Is he a possibility? Maybe binge Davis? Those are 2 retired guys, but maybe they could be added for depth? I would rather just role with our line up right now though. Maybe they will bring Pac-Man back in

As Vance continues to get better, as he clearly has, why can’t fans see it? This is ONLY his second year as a head coach and, as far as I can remember, hasn’t made the same mistake twice. I know similar things have been stated on this podcast already, but it is absolutely absurd to still not recognize his improvements at this point. If john fox or Gary Kubiak we’re making the VJ mistakes, that would be a different story as they are seasoned vets. The expectations should be different for a second year coach. If a second year QB showed the progression in year 2 that Vance has, we, as broncos fans would already begin drawing comparisons to john Elway and peyton manning. I say we keep the coaching staff exactly as it is, ESPECIALLY if we continue this streak. Happy Monday, BSN fam! I appreciate this community more than you know! Peace and love. . P.s. my 3 month old randomly threw up the Shaka a couple of weeks ago and I totally got a picture. I instantly thought of this pod and, of course, Domata Peko

Hey guys! I’ve been listening to the Podcast for a while now and finally took advantage to the amazing deal you had going on. I got a Phillip Lindsay shirt and the Avs three headed monster shirt to represent my two favorite teams.
I’m really happy the Broncos are doing better and we no longer have to listen to calls from fans to tank. I truly believe no matter what the record of the Broncos having an always win mentality is important, especially with so many young players stepping up. Whether or not we make the playoffs the fact that we are creating a culture of never give up rather than to tanking the second things look bad is going to create a better team environment and work ethic in the future.
You guys are the best Broncos pod out there. I appreciate the level minded approach you guys take.
