Hi guys down here in Australia listening to the pod while getting ready for AFL Football Grand Final day tomorrow. Speaking RK’s thoughts of changing sports there is a USA former College Basketballer playing in the game tomorrow, recruited for his height and vertical leap seems to have worked. Also Usain Bolt is down here trying out for a soccer team, speak of the devil ….a man ahead of your time Ryan!

On Broncos lets hope we can just put a full game together, thats all we ask as fans. We have been both lucky and unlucky in all games but are yet to put it all together.

Looking forward to hitting up the store. I need me the Phil Lindsay T-Shirt it looks awesome

PS good luck to the Broncos fan from Perth Australia if you are an WC Eagles fan, if not enjoy a few beers 🙂

Some fun facts leading up to KCvsDEN. Chiefs are currently 1st in 1st downs per play, and have the fewest 3rd downs per game. Conversely, they are last in opponents 1st downs per play, and 30th in yards per play. Top end offense, bottom end defense. Execution is one thing, but game plan should be easy: force 3rd downs for KC offense, and control the clock on offense. If Denver doesn’t have 35+ rush attempts, I’ll be disappointed. Control the clock and force KC to make plays under duress.

I hate to say it, but after Monday night’s upcoming game against the Kansas City Chiefs, I think the Broncos need to go shopping for a premier (Top 20) Cornerback or Safety to bolster a very weak defensive secondary. I hope Bradley Roby proves me wrong, but I think he’s gone after this year.

How? Trade before the October 30th deadline.

They need to put either Demaryius Thomas or Emmanuel Sanders on the block for a reasonable trade offer, and I think DT would have to go. Might even have to throw in a 5th round draft pick depending on the player. If Denver wants to win another Super Bowl, they need to bring back a true NO FLY ZONE.

Consider there are 2 Top-10 QBs in our division (Patrick Mahomes #1, Philip Rivers #3–according to CBS Sports) and the way to beat guys like that is to lock down receivers so guys like Bradley Chubb and Von Miller can get to them.

Also, it would be prudent for the Broncos to set themselves up in the 2019 draft where we might have to choose a QB as our #1 pick. To not have to worry so much about our defensive pass protection going into that draft would be a luxury.

Your thoughts???

Below is a list of TOP 20 caliber guys who will be free agents most of them in 2019. I seriously doubt they will get either of the Charges in a trade.

Tyrann Mathieu/Houston, Age 27, Safety
Landon Collins/New York Giants, Age 25, Safety
LaMarcus Joyner/Los Angeles Rams, Age 28, Safety
Kareem Jackson/Houston, Age 30, Safety
Earl Thomas/Seattle, Age 30, Safety

Jason Verrett/Los Angeles Chargers, Age 28, Cornerback
Darius Slay/Detroit, Age 27 Cornerback
Darqueze Dennard/Cincinnati, Age 27, Cornerback

Hey Guys,

We get it. Pat Mahomes is lighting up the NFL through 3 games, Kareem Hunt is a top 5 RB in the league, and Tyreek Hill is really fast. What I’m most worried about is the fact that Andy Reid DOES NOT LOSE division games. He’s 22-9 in the AFC West since joining in 2013, and 17-2 from the 2015 season on. Can the Broncos do anything to throw off the scheming of Andy Reid and his coaching staff? This looks like an uphill battle for the home team. Love the pod, keep up the great work!
