Hey Andre, thanks for the breakdown. As someone out of market, I don’t get to see many games until after the fact, so having in depth analysis from a pro means that much more. I try to follow draft news all year long, and this year I’m looking heavily at DT for round 1. Peko still shows ability, but he’s 33, and a FA after this year. Do you think we resign him, and if not, do we go DI in the 1st? Vegas odds currently have us picking 19th, and personally I’m loving Raekwon at that spot. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry I missed this, BWR I love the question, I’ll address this in full on our Broncos DRAFT podcast on Tuesday so be sure to tune in.
I like Davis a lot too, this would be a great year to go after a DT, though not exactly a NT replacement for Peko. I certainly think it’s a need but it wouldn’t be a priority for me like CB, LB, OT or maybe QB is right now.
I ranked Davis 19th in my preseason Big Board, I’ll be updating that soon: https://www.bsndenver.com/who-broncos-fans-should-watch-in-the-upcoming-college-football-season/.

How’d Josey Jewell grade out for you? He looked to be playing instead of Davis on the final 4 or 5 minutes of the 4th quarter when the defense was under the most pressure.

I thought he played well and started to show some promise, though I didn’t feel he made enough of an impact to warrant a grade in this one, he’d be at about a C. He’ll be prominently featured in the Week 3 grades.
