My biggest memory from 2001 was the hit by Chris Dingman and the goal by Adam Foote, so at least one guy remembers. By the way, it was Gomez that coughed up the puck on that play.

Thanks for sharing so many great 2001 memories, Adrian. A few of mine from then: the first time I noticed Bertuzzi’s violent tendencies when in the first round he smashed Eric Messier’s face into the ice; Pronger spitefully sticking his leg out to trip Yelle after his redemptive OT game 4 winning goal just as he was about to celebrate; and Skoula’s key goal in game 3 of the finals in New Jersey. By the way, Thomas Dolby played here in DC two weeks ago and my friend said he was fantastic. Science!
