Other than my hilariously adorable so laughing or singing the DNVR theme song (which he knows completely at 18mos old, no joke) Mase singing a counting crows song is the best thing I’ve heard in a long time.

Boys my Drew Lock Jersey came in today, so I really hope that he doesn’t let me down. Don’t get me wrong I think he’s the guy, but here’s a comparison: He’s kinda like Jay Cutler with way more passion and way less cigarettes. I also have a question. I got a notification saying that the Cap is supposed to increase by 8 million in 2020 does that mean we are resigning Chris Harris? Kind of seems god sent for that to happen right? He’s meant for this team and I feel like we could POTENTIALLY get to another super bowl with him on a new contract. This defense looks like the defense that won super bowl 50, Von Miller being a Demarcus Ware, Bradley Chubb being a Von Miller, Kareem Jackson being a new TJ Ward, Justin Simmons being, well him, and maybe Bryce Callahan comes back next year and doesn’t lose a step (pun intended). Last ones a what if. Sorry for a long comment I’m just super hype. Going to week 17 game against Oakland do I just stop by and say Hi at the Sons of Mile High tailgate or do you guys have obligations? Thank you for getting me through long days at work you wouldn’t believe how much faster the pods make my days go.

Hey boys! Haven’t posted in a while, but just had to hop on and say…I did it, I ordered a Lock jersey, I had to have one with that 100 Year shield they have on this season. Been a huge fan before the draft, and went through such a range of emotions on draft weekend, but so stoked he’s (so far) proving me correct. But honestly, thanks Mase for keeping my emotions a bit in check as far as expectations. That being said, I hope that homecoming this Sunday will be yet another huge W for the good guys! GO BRONCOS

I was at the game on Sunday. Went with 3 of my Texans friends. They were all talking mad smack the whole morning….
Well look who got the last laugh ?
By the end of the 4th it turned into a home game and the orange became the majority in the crowd. It was beautiful.

I 100% believe Lock has IT and is THE GUY. The way he communicates with the media and describes the plays and the enthusiasm. You can tell he gets it.

Just admit it Mase…you know you want to.
Come to the dark side…give in…it feels good.

2020 IS THE YEAR OF THE LOCK ?

Hey boys. Zac, it sounds like you & I are going to ride with TB12 until he hangs up his cleats! 🙂 It’s kind of like Von, he’s the GOAT. A couple of years ago, he was tied with Charles Haley with 5 SB rings, no longer. I’ll call Mase on the 2020 playoffs and raise him a 2020 AFC West Champs once again with Bradley back!!! Write it down guys, Andrew Stephen Lock will NOT struggle in his NFL homecoming game, he & the Broncs could put a 50 burger on the Chefs!!!!! Mase is talking about the Chefs like he did the Texans also @ home. It’s still Broncs 38-20 for me, if it’s 52-20, will Mase FINALLY say ” THE Drew Lock era has begun? ” GO Lock/Broncos/Zoomies

Fellas,

Greetings from the Palouse!

You hit the nail on the head here mentioning that you guys had more confidence in 3rd down situations with Lock. With Flacco, a 3rd and long was a death sentence and the special teams, and defense knew it. Now, a 3rd down seems like nothing. Drew will just check his handy dandy wristband and throw a laser to Sutton or Fant, both HUGE targets. With back to back wins I officially have a Drew Lock lock jersey in my shopping cart on nfl shop. I am purchasing it, no questions asked if we beat the Chiefs this Sunday. So my only question is should I go with blue, orange, or white after the win? Go Broncos!

Hey guys you mentioned the other day could you imagine if someone put the moneyline bet on the Broncos? I did. I know you shouldn’t bet with your hear, but my heart screamed Broncos. I got scared and didn’t put the C note on it but did put $60 and made $210 +350, give me the Broncos no matter what.

Keeping the topic focused on gambling, what do I do? I’m in a $300 fantasy league, got the bye week now I have a 3-4 chance to at least get my money back. I missed the season high score prize of $500 by 10 points!! My team didn’t look good last week. Need your help. I threw the waiver claim on Lock. Now I have Kyler Murray at home against Zac’s Browns also, or I could also pick up Matt Ryan at SF. Lock, Murray or Ryan? Love the Broncos but do I DARE go Lock?? I hope I am not wearing fan blinders but if I could at least get to the finals maybe I throw Drew for sure into the finals. Caviot my league is standard scoring but subtracts -.5 points on a QB for a sack (dumb rule) but that’s how it is! Murray has really hurt me for that reason. Please advise!

Guys,
So this Patriots cheating thing is happening again. I am with Mase 100%, but I would go farther. If it is proven the Pats were spying on teams AGAIN, they should lose their playoff spot, Belichick should be suspended for an entire season, he should be fined $500,000, the franchise should be fined $1,000,000, and they should lose at minimum their next two first round draft picks. We know that isn’t happening at this point, but how else are you going to discourage this behavior. Back to Broncos; Mase as far as draft 2020 goes, how do you feel about them going Trey Smith gaurd from Tennessee early the 2nd? The guy seems to really be a great run blocker, and with Risner, McGovern and him on the inside now you have a start to a line. I am in KC so I would for sure be interested in a meet up!

It’s certainly consistent with the bounty gate punishment for Sean Peyton. Personally, I’d advocate for the Pete Rose treatment: ban Belichick. As an NFL employee and from the HOF. He’s the most common denominator in all of it, and they have at least one super bowl victory because of it, and it’s not the only way they’ve been caught bending the rules. If you truly want to put a stop to it, make an example of him. Not that Gooddell has the cajones to do it, but that’s what’s required to put an end to the behavior

I am with you for sure. This is outside the box, but I would consider vacating their Super Bowl from this year, like college football. This is absurd at this point.

1. Carolina (love the sweet tang)
2. Texas
3. Memphis
4 KC cause F KC
2) rewatching the tape I saw at least 3-4 ELITE throws that you just don’t see from even average to good NFL QB’s the first two to Fant and the one to Patrick deep in the sideline off his back foot were franchise QB throws. This kid is gonna be special.
3) I feel bad for Aly on the DNVR pod cause she’s gotta try to reign in all the boys being boys and being weird and off task lol
4) lets petition for official Lock Jerseys to be available

The Patriots cheat because that’s what they do.they have never been seriously punished. It doesn’t matter if it’s the Bengals, it is in their dna. Why do some men cheat on the most beautiful women in the world? Because they can’t help it, it’s part of their makeup.

The Patriots have been caught very few times compared to how many times they are culpable. The Patriots would look into modifying the grass on the field if they could find a competitive advantage.

Suspend belicheck for the year. All Patriot profits for an entire year goes to non profits for kids. Set an example that cheating will not be tolerated

Hey guys!

As much as I want to be cocked, locked, and ready to rock for (sorry sensors) ???, I’m with Mase. The kid has more than earned his chance, but let’s see how he responds to the stuff hitting the fan. If it doesn’t happen on Sunday, it might not even happen this year with the Lions and Raiders at home. I love that when’s Drew’s unlocked, the ball is spread all over the field, and not just to a favorite target. That’s what the greats do. They make the pieces around them better. We’ve seen this level of excitement in the past, however. Elway took 14 years to fully pay off. Cutler was good, but fizzled once he left. Tebow caused too many heart attacks in the 4th quarter. Manning fell into our laps. Point being, I want to see how he does in the long term. It feels good to have a glimmer of hope. I want him to be “the guy”. But, as they say in his home state, show me.

**Can you only ask this question if RK is on the Podcast?**

Davion Taylor..

What round can we get him in, and how do you all think he projects onto the Broncos Roster. Round 6 or 7? Or will he go higher? Could he be the answer to the illustrious coverage LB? I first saw him in the Utah game with a monster hit, and maaaaan I would love to see that hit in Orange and Blue.

Full credit to @HenryChisholm for alerting me to this player.

A few thoughts:

1) I get a strong feeling that Tim Patrick will have a Shaq Barrett career arc.

2) I’ve heard on the grapevine that the Rocky Mountain region appeals to Brandon Scherff and he may be interested in coming here. Couple that with Munchak and a potential franchise QB, and of course the dysfunction on his current team, and it’s definitely possible.

Also, remember he was a left tackle at Iowa, and having Trent Williams established as the starter, didn’t give him an opportunity to play LT in the pros. He didn’t meet the 34″ arm length that most consider for tackle play, but then again, neither did Joe Thomas.

3) Mr B

4) Cam Newton the Chargers is gaining traction- any thoughts if Cam comes to the division? 😉

5) Mase, did you see the reference The Simpsons made about the Broncos the other day? Has there been a time when they weren’t shady towards the Broncos? Every reference I can think of has been negative smh.

1. If Rahim Moore had better depth perception, when would Drew Lock have made his first start?

2. If Saints Safety Marcus Williams doesn’t whiff on Stefon Diggs…is Josh Allen the Broncos starting QB?

3. Mr. B

4. I need to address RK’s love for Kliff Kingsbury. As a Texas Tech fan, I appreciate what he did as a player. But don’t forget…as a coach his dynamic offense couldn’t keep him employed in the Big XII: not a conference known for its defensive prowess. He posted 2 winning seasons in 6 years. That’s with Patrick Mahomes and a young Baker Mayfield. His offenses are always fun to watch, but his teams are reminiscent of the late Shanahan-era Broncos. Losing shootouts.

5. Itching for Sunday by Tuesday. Thank you Drew.

6. I’ve gone down enough rabbit holes so I’ll shut up now.

DNVR,

Let get on the HYPE-o-thetical train here and say by some Tebow fashion miracle they make the playoffs. We would then be looking to play the Chiefs, Texans or Titans in the wild card round. If we blow the chiefs out on Sunday then these are all teams we have already beaten this season! 2 on the road and a shutout at home with Flacco… Even more down the hole we then would go to Baltimore, how would you see that going?

Hello men,
I believe that Drew is the 7th starting QB since Manning. Elway #7, Drew 7th QB. 3 for Mr. B., Drew #3. Interesting coincidence or good omens!

I think they need to roll with Lock next season, if works out great, if not then we know that 2021 draft will have some good QB prospects!
I’m afraid 2 maybe 3 of top Lt’s will be gone by the time we pick, along with okudah. Then what? I don’t want to reach on a tackle.
I want another elite receiver or 2!! Trade down a few spots, take possibly a tackle, then trade back into the 1st for a reciever(Lamb or Ruggs) or biadasz? Although I’m happy to roll with McGovern at center.
Also would love to see a coverage backer. Name to watch Logan Wilson of Wyoming! He was a butkus finalist and will be at the senior bowl. Projected 5th rounder but have heard with good senior bowl could climb to the mid rounds!
We are full on Toy Story with Buzz on offense and Rex the dinosaur on defense! Lol
Thanks boys!

Ryan, great point on one of the recent pods.  In 2 weeks, Drew Lock made the offence look incredible, saved Scangarallo’s job, made the O line look really good, infused the entire team with energy, made the Bronco’s fun to watch again, and…….. made Elway look like a genius.

The only criticism I can make of Lock at this point is that he stares down his receivers.  Teams will start to key on that, and he will be more vulnerable to throwing pics if he continues to do that.  With his arm strength, all he needs to do is just look off the safety for a second, and that’s all it will take.

Hey Gents! I noticed Hamilton got an uptick in looks from Lock this past week. Do you think this team could eventually turn him into the much needed slot WR we need or are we needing to go to the draft on this one? Thanks, and keep “LOCKING” in that solid content!

Is it me or is Drew Lock just a local story right now? I haven’t heard anyone outside of the Denver media talk about performance in Houston and I really can’t understand why. Maybe it’s because he hasnt played on a larger stage or that since the Broncos are well out of the playoff hunt but I kinda feel like he’s being slighted. Granted it’s just two starts but they’ve looked way better as an entire team since the switch.

Hopefully after a strong performance in KC, more will start to take notice that we have something special brewing at Mile High.

In the press conference, Vic just said Drew is going to have to learn how to go to KC once a year! Despite pumping the breaks, it looks like Vic really does believe Drew is The Guy. My theory is that Vic is strategically taking some pressure off Drew. He’s bringing his young star up with care. Too high expectations and hype can hurt your growth. Let the kid grow, learn, and continue to challenge him. Vic impresses me once again. With a young core and Vic at the helm, we have a lot to be excited about. Feels good to have hope again! #ANewHope

Drew Lock embodies the essence of a franchise QB. He is by far the most charismatic QB since PFM. Some of the football scholars are saying Drew is a “bad process” QB. They say Drew leans more on arm talent than reads. Are you all seeing this? What is Drew’s ceiling and what is his floor?. Thanks for being the best Broncos coverage nation wide!!!

Gents,

in my current position I am surrounded by Kansas City fans. I enjoy talking up the greatness of the KC Chiefs and how unbelievable they are, allow their enthusiasm to build until they are shaking with excitement, then I close the deal with one question: : “By the way, when was the last time you won a superbowl?”

My question: What factors led to multiple QB needy teams (including Denver) to pass on Drew Lock 1-3 times apiece?

NickCox

December 12, 2019

I did it. I haven’t played madden, or video games at all for that matter, in a LONG time, but I just HAD to pull out my PS2 and create Drew Lock to start a franchise. I had to do it….

Anyway, I can’t remember who it was who asked if they should start Kyler or Lock. Here is how I view fantasy decisions when they are close… You are trying to decide between two players who realistically, based off of the situations, are similar in floor and ceiling. With that being said, ALWAYS pick the one who you’d rather lose with. Allow me to explain. If KYLER fails you but Drew has a great game, you are going to be kicking yourself for not starting your guy AND taking an L on the way out. However, if you start Drew and he has a bad game with Kyler on your bench who happens to have a great game, well, at least you started your guy. Basically, fantasy football should enhance your football watching experience. Who would you rather root for this weekend: Lock, or Kyler? So sorry for the long comment. I hope it makes sense and helps.
