This lineup is gonna be downright lethal when they get even just bit healthier. Figure we get Mikko back first, that opens up a whole slew of possibilities and combinations. Then drop Gabe in there … where? Seriously, Burakovsky has shown he can play on MacK’s right side, and Donskoi or Calvert provide just what is needed on the other side being hard on the forecheck and digging pucks out for the other two to play with. Could you imagine that our second line would be Kadri between Mikko and Landy? Seriously, that’s a legit possibility in my mind, knowing that you can always throw the big three together again at a moment’s notice and they probably won’t miss a beat out there together.

Uhhhhh, NO. MacK and Mikko are a pair for life. Way too special together.

Agree. If anyone gets dropped from that line, its Landy.

Good game by the Avs, its great they are stringing some wins together while missing a lot of key players. Good story on Ab, his shot is wicked! Gotta love what he is doing. Just gotta stop making bad turnovers in our D zone, that was terrible EJ and Girard. Gave them some momentum. Grub was great in his return to action which is great to see. When the avs get healthy…watch out NHL

I am really excited of the scouting done by the AVS, every summer acquisitions seems to be good to perfect.

I like the way Nichushkin steals the puck and carries it into the O zone. There’s a reason Bednar plays him so much.
Furthermore, I hereby predict that some time before his 130’th game he’ll make a wonderful shot towards an empty net…
and just barely miss.

On another front, Bednar’s response when asked how soon any of the rest of our players might come back was not encouraging. So I’m glad our current roster is doing this well.
That said, every time I hear talk about this team being cup contenders I wonder: what happens if we’re matched against the Oilers? Maybe we could beat them if we have Landy and Rants back, and Calvert, and our defense tightens up a bit, but I’m not as optimistic as our DNVR commentators.
