Mase’s “what-ifs” have peaked my interest, and I want to ask you all about a what-if for the future! Correct me if I’m wrong, but a few pods ago, I heard Mase talk about an extreme scenario–one of the Bowlens moving the team out of Denver! While I don’t know anything about that, us Missourians have had some experience with NFL relocation. I have a couple things here (split them up how you want):
Part 1: I talked earlier about how Mile High was pretty red against the Chiefs this season. I know fans want to send a message to the brass by not showing up, but would that ever reach to an extent where the team would have an incentive to relocate to boost attendance? I want to believe that it wouldn’t, but I can see it happening.
Part 2: When the Rams moved from St. Louis, local media showed a divide among residents. Fans who were more loyal to the city despised the team and picked another team or just removed themselves from the NFL entirely. Fans who were more loyal to the team said they’d still support them as the Los Angeles Rams. Where do you three fall on this question? With me, I fall in the first group. I only stop being a Broncos fan if they betray the city of Denver. Does this make me a conditional fan?
Sorry for the long comment. Damn good pod, boys.

Boys.. we need you more than ever. You. Are. The. Media. Apply the pressure and don’t let up. This is unacceptable on all fronts and the fact that there is no “checks and balances” in the front office tells me nothing will ever change. The only hope I believe we have is the media applying the pressure and influencing the fans to be that loud voice that says enough is enough.
It’s a long shot, but it’s all we have. Don’t pull any punches.

I generally agree! If the Broncos play bad on Sunday, the loudest, corrective booing is absolutely necessary!

I’m sorry, but I can’t buy the “people aren’t liking what they see” narrative about Drew Lock. The Broncos had googoo eyes over him his entire senior year here in Missouri. How could they follow him for that long and draft him, only to not like what they see? I mean they did trade down and he fell, but still!

No pods from Broncos facilities any longer? What’s up with that ? Whatever, you will be rolling from cars and bars then, right?
Maybe when Elway and co are living in a van down by the river the team will let pods back in? In the mean time just put on your Mile Klis masks and you’ll be ok.
It’s crazy that the house that John helped build has become
The shanty he’s tearing down with his front-office chicanery.
I think I’ll go to my chambers and Gus frerotte my head for a bit.

Hey boys. My grades for the 1st. & 2nd. quarters of 2019 seemed to be hard to understand, so the bottom line @ the midterm = ” D! ” D grade = a bad football club. Joe maybe going on IR? I wonder who failed to touch wood for him? Starting a game against an NFL team with a backup QB with 0 plays in an NFL game and a new backup rookie QB also with 0 plays in an NFL game means the Broncs have a 0 chance of winning!!! 🙁 GO ZOOMIES

Although I agree with what everything you guys are saying on how stupid it is to not let lock practice. Why arent these tough questions asked during media time? Specifically in the handling of a young qb , across the league the mentality is find what you have. What recent success do the Broncos have with a young qbs that show their methods work? Are you guys prevented from asking these types of questions?

Hey guys, when is it expected the bowlen family issue to be resolved? We need an owner ASAP, because joe Ellis surely isn’t firing elway. I was so bummed after this news that lock isn’t even PRACTICING until after the buy, I just can’t do it with John Elway again, he needs to be held accountable for his actions, is this guy blind? What is he so afraid of, if the guy isn’t it, fine, move on, you’re probably having another top 5 pick next year but not even trying the guy out at practice, for gods sake.
Thanks as always for the great coverage.

Mase is talking about The Drive 2. Meanwhile I’m fantasizing about The Drive 3: Elway’s drive to the unemployment office. Elway’s stubbornness and ultimately his naivety has completely tarnished his legacy and sullied his image for me. I cannot understand how a football minded person can’t/won’t see what needs to be done with this team. The only way the fans’ point gets across is if we hit em where it hurts; their wallets. We need that stadium EMPTY for the rest of our home games this season.

Hey DNVR family! Andre from mile High Brazil here, long time without commenting but Joe Flacco made me come back!
1) Mr. Flacco listen (LOL) for you to put you OC under the bus like that PLAY BETTER! right nouw you look like a rookie!
2) I personally have faith in Scangs, let the guy work and grow it is a hard ajustment for our entire coaching staff basically
3) for HOF B.
4) once again our defense do not deserve our offense
5) My hearth says don’t trade Chris, my brain says trade Chris…whatever, John will do whaterver he wants.
Keep up the good work guys, for sure you are the only reason some of us continue to follow the Broncos closely

Hey guys. First thank you Mase for pronouncing my last name right. Other then Lock being hurt what reason could the broncos have not to play Him? I’m thinking that Elway doesn’t want to admit that he Failed in his Evaluation of Joe Flacco. So in a way playing Lock is the last thing Elway wants to do. It similar to the Tebow/Orton crap in 2010 and 2011.
With Brandon Allen Starting on Sunday it got me thinking of terrible backups that Denver has had over the years. Do u guys remember Chris Simms. Lol he probably had the worst game I have ever seen when he came into a game after Orton got hurt in a 2009 game. I think he had -3 yards passing. It was awful. I even made a video on Youtube of my reaction to that game back then. I hope Allen is not that awful.
I’m not sure if there was a question in that rant. Have a good one guys.
