What Makes This Play Great, Episode Two: "Strong"

“What makes this play great” is a brand new series I will be doing here at DNVR in which I break down in detail a single play, moment, or sequence from a Denver Nuggets game and explain all of the subtle details that you might’ve missed the first time around. Today’s episode is on a very simple action that the Nuggets run to free up a shooter at the top of the key. While the play itself is extremely simple, the devil is in the details and the play often succeeds or fails based on what the Nuggets do after the initial action.
