Kirk Cousins would definitely be Montez’ ceiling lol. I kinda think the Paxton Lynch comparison is just brutal. I can’t do that to Steven. Paxton was a rock mentally, I’m sorry. Plus he simply didn’t care until he saw his career diving off a cliff. I have to give Montez more than that.
Laviska Shenault has been compared to Julio Jones. I think that’s a bit generous, just on size and speed. Julio is Laviska physical. Laviska isn’t Julio fast. For me, Shenault is a slightly faster Anquan Bolden. Bolden was as tough as they came. He was a very clutch player who you always went to in big moments. Defenses know he was coming. He’d beat them anyhow. Mostly with physicality.
Game prediction: Turnovers kill Montez and the offense. Oregon plays on short fields all night and prevail 31-14. Man, I hope I’m crazy..
